Historic Downtown Dade City

The Chamber of Commerce offers self guided Historic Walking Tour as you stroll through our Historic Downtown enjoying a leisurely day exploring our antique and unique shops, art galleries or just sample foods from some of our delicious restaurants.

Centered around our red brick Historic Courthouse, you will step back into the days of yesterday hearing the roar of the engines as the antique cars pull in for our Cruise-In, held the First Saturday of each Month September through June.

Listen closely; as you will hear people exclaiming, "I've found the perfect piece" at one of our Antique Faire's, or as they are shopping one of our many Antiques Shops.

When the leaves start to signify the fall season is upon us; our Historic Downtown comes alive; with the laughter of children, old and young alike, as they find joy in building their own scarecrow at our Scarecrow Festival (Second Saturday in October).

As the Holiday Season comes around in December, you will find us decked out in our holiday best as we transform into an old fashioned Christmas Town, with our Magical Night Christmas Parade (the First Friday night), Christmas Stroll (Second Saturday night), The Pioneer Florida Museum's Christmas Open House (First Saturday) to our Church Street Christmas (December 21st - 23rd); a signature event that has been happening for over 31 years; you will find yourself a part of our history and our hearts.
